While I haven't updated my newspage recently, that doesn't mean there isn't any new content on my site! I've been adding new projects to the animation section on my portfolio, from television spots to the new 2009 CPTV Uconn Women's Basketball open animation. Head to my portfolio section to see them.
Ok, this update is long overdue. I've been interning at CPTV as part of their "Media Lab" since early April. I've been producing animations and editing programs for both TV and the web. I was also hired as a freelance animator and have made several promos, ads, and program opens for television. The animation section of my portfolio is filled with all sorts of new content, with more on the way. Check it out!
I've added a recent model from a GameArtisans.org mini-challenge to my portfolio section. It is a fan-model of my favorite Final Fantasy VI character, Relm Arrowny.
Lately I've been participating in GameArtisans.org's mini-challenges for modeling practice. Two new models have been added to the 3D section of my portfolio, check them out!
I've been home for a few days from my summer job at Emagination Computer Camps, so I thought it was time for an update! I worked as a Game Design Instructor for their teenage Game Design program. Although I led the 3dsmax lectures, I also helped teach Photoshop and The First Person Shooter Creator. After all the lessons were complete, we then guided teams of students as they spent the rest of their two weeks creating a game. Game design principles, team work, and software skills were just some of the things our students learned about this summer.
The whole program lasted 3 sessions; 2 weeks in Altanta, 4 weeks in Boston. That totals to 6 weeks of game design-goodness. Most of the games came out fairly well, with a few stand-out games that were quite impressive. I met some really cool people, learned some new techniques, and overall found it to be a very rewarding experience.
During my free time, I created a couple 3d models and imported them into the First Person Shooter Creator. Head over to my portfolio, and go to the 3d section to check them out!
Out with the old, in with the new! My new website has been officially launched. I'm much happier with the look of this page, but then again, my previous page was just my portfolio, and nothing more. I plan to update this page frequently, so keep an eye on it.
